The Fair Election Fund today announced that it will expand the use of its $5 million whistleblower protection program to investigate potential wrongdoing by the North Carolina State Board of Elections, which ruled yesterday to temporarily block Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from appearing on the ballot in the Tar Heel State. The ruling came despite both Kennedy and West amassing enough petition signatures to qualify for the ballot and after Joe Biden’s allies pressured the NCSBE not to certify either qualified candidate.
The Fair Election Fund also announced today that the group will be launching a six-figure paid media campaign beginning next week targeting the three Democrat members of the NCSBE and urging them to reverse their unjustifiable decision.
“After Joe Biden’s abysmal performance at the debate, he and his allies are scared to death and know the only way they can claw their way back in this race is to resort to election interference like they did this week in North Carolina. If Biden’s allies illegally worked with the liberals on the NCSBE to block Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from the ballot, we’re going to find out and expose it. We will be relentless in holding Alan Hirsch, Siobhan O’Duffy Millen, Jeff Carmon accountable for their anti-democracy ruling.” – Fair Election Fund Senior Official
